Hotel Huerto del Cura, an iconic hotel renowned for its unique location in the heart of Elche's Palm Grove, will host «A seis manos» on Friday 20 November, a gastronomic event bringing together Rubén Sánchez-Camacho, chef at the Michelin-starred Epílogo restaurant in Ciudad Real; Fran Segura, an internationally acclaimed master pastry chef; and Jesús Gómez, chef at Hotel Huerto del Cura. This will be the first time the hotel has hosted an experience of this kind, featuring a tasting menu created with seasonal ingredients for an unprecedented culinary occasion at Huerto del Cura.
The event will combine Rubén Sánchez-Camacho's contemporary cuisine from Castilla-La Mancha with Jesús Gómez's Mediterranean gastronomy, highlighting locally sourced produce, tradition and modern culinary techniques. The sweetest part of the experience will be in the hands of Fran Segura, who will bring his creativity and expertise in fine patisserie to complete a gastronomic journey that brings together three distinct culinary visions. The experience will also include a carefully selected wine pairing, featuring wines from the province of Alicante alongside other beverages chosen to complement the tasting menu.
The event will bring together three professionals with distinguished careers in Spain's culinary scene. Rubén Sánchez-Camacho heads Epílogo, a Michelin-starred restaurant in Tomelloso (Ciudad Real), while Fran Segura has received accolades including Best Dessert in Spain (2013), the Silver Medal at the Pastry World Cup (2022) and recognition for creating one of the three best chocolate cakes in the world (2024). Jesús Gómez will act as host, showcasing Hotel Huerto del Cura's culinary identity and its commitment to local produce.
The celebration of «A seis manos» marks another step forward in Hotel Huerto del Cura's gastronomic strategy, as the hotel continues to introduce signature culinary concepts and unique experiences to its offering. Among its initiatives is Desayuno by Fran Segura, a concept developed in collaboration with the master pastry chef, which was selected as a finalist in the Grand Hotel category of the 2026 Best Hotel Breakfast Award, organised by Madrid Fusión Alimentos de España.
With this first six-hands gastronomic event, Hotel Huerto del Cura strengthens its position as a leading destination for gastronomy and hospitality in the Valencian Community, bringing fine dining closer to hotel guests, local residents and visitors alike. This initiative forms part of Port Hotels' commitment to gastronomy as a distinguishing feature of its properties and will take place in the Elche Palm Grove, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
«A seis manos» will take place on Friday 20 November at Hotel Huerto del Cura, with limited places available and advance booking required. The experience will be open to hotel guests, local residents and visitors to the city. Tickets for this exclusive gastronomic event can be purchased through the official website:
